Our Mission

Hi, friends! My name is Brittany Barnett. I am an Arkansas Native with a genuine love for helping others. I have been in the medical field for 10+ years! I started my journey in healthcare working with geriatrics but my experience is much larger than that population alone. I have worked med/surg, pediatrics, home health, and even a touch of hospice. 

I currently live in Jonesboro, AR with my husband and our 3 kids. They keep us BUSY! We have one that recently started driving (pray for us! LOL!) and the younger two are active in other activities... with their most favorite being "driving Mom wild". LOL! Kidding. We love to travel which is what inspired the name "Journey" and Health and Wellness speaks for itself I think. :)

I became a Nurse Practitioner in 2020! That's right! Success during a PANDEMIC! HA! I absolutely love it! I most recently started my own journey to health and wellness and I know I can be a GREAT resource for so many others. I was so run down (physically and mentally), had no energy to do anything! I decided things needed to change when my cholesterol was getting to values not ideal. I know how much work, dedication, and just in general... ALL! THE! THINGS! go into losing weight and maintaining the healthy lifestyle. You know the saying... if it were easy, everyone would be doing it. I want to encourage you to; at the very least; REACH OUT to me.  We will do it together! I love having a close relationship with my patients, you'll feel like you're talking to a bestie (that is my hope, anyways)! :)
